Gucci brings Metaverse in a bottle

With its twitter trailer of a co-branded bottle; Gucci sets in motion the underway of their new collaboration with Web3 giant Yuga Labs’ Otherside.

Gucci announced its multi-year alliance with a twitter post of a bottle branding Gucci with Yuga labs. The same bottle also appeared in the trailer launch for Otherside, Yuga’s upcoming Bored Ape theme metaverse game.

Luxury fashion house Gucci is doubling down into web3 and metaverse with a new collaboration with Yuga Labs, a young and pioneering start-up famous for Bored Ape Yacht Club, the world’s first NFT art collection to issue IP licenses to their owners.
Gucci is taking new narratives into blurring the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds. With Gucci Vault (the concept store by Gucci, explores vintage styles, hand-picked brands and goes into the metaverse.) we see it playing an active role in Otherside and 10KTF’s.
We might as well be walking into a creative-immersive experience of exploring and having a vintage Gucci tryouts onto our Game Avatars of Metaverse.

This partnership builds between physical and digital. On 10KTF’s Gucci Grail, the NFT clothing collection created by digital tailor Wagmi-san, it offers an exclusive preview of how Gucci will actually become part of Otherside.

The two companies with their Creative Leadership is set to deepen the link emerging between fashion and entertainment in the Metaverse. Starting this week, Gucci and Yuga Labs together will begin offering their customers immersive experiences, aimed at promoting experimental storytelling through unexpected artistic choices.


It collectively makes a big step towards the motto and success of Yuga Labs founder his willingness to challenge the limits of digital and real and their desire to create a cohesive community.
